Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our hospital team on the Day shift. You will provide continuous patient care, coordinate with medical staff, and support families through post-operative discharge planning.

The role requires an RN license, BLS certification, and 1+ year of hospital or ambulatory surgery experience. ACLS preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a path for professional growth.

• Assesses patients immediately upon return to the unit for phase II recovery according to unit protocols.
• Provides patients and families with post-operative educational information and discharge instructions.
• Discharges patients following established discharge criteria.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in patient assessment and reassessment.
