Job summary

BOAB Ventures seeks an Astrodynamics Engineer to model, simulate, and analyze satellite trajectories for government programs across diverse Earth orbits. You will develop maneuver strategies, support rendezvous and proximity operations, and apply SDA data to orbit determination.

The role requires strong backgrounds in astrodynamics, applied mathematics, or aerospace engineering, plus programming in Python or C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Experience in astrodynamics or orbital mechanics.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• CI polygraph or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Model, simulate, and analyze satellite trajectories and orbital operations.
• Develop strategies for significant orbital maneuvers and orbital changes.
• Support analysis of multi-satellite rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO).
• Apply space domain awareness (SDA) sensor data to orbit determination and tracking of maneuvering satellites.
• Develop, modify, and validate analytical models and simulation tools.
• Use Python, C++, or similar languages to support orbital analysis and software development.
• Prepare technical documentation and briefings to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Review and validate algorithms, models, and results from external engineering teams.
