Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Health Programs - Fixed Term
Michigan State University, Department of Family Medicine, is seeking applications for a faculty position in the Health Programs Faculty Appointment System. This role uniquely combines clinical practice in geriatrics with teaching and/or research responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or have recently completed an accredited residency in either specialty. Fellowship training in geriatrics or substantial experience in the care of older adults across the continuum of care is required. Candidates should have a strong interest in medical education, primary care, educational research, and community engagement and outreach.
The Department of Family Medicine is a vibrant community of scholars committed to medical education and community health. Faculty members are engaged in teaching, research, and scholarship, with opportunities for collaboration within a statewide network and with rural and underserved populations. The College of Human Medicine supports faculty development and offers numerous opportunities for community-focused projects, including collaborations with the Department of Public Health and Extension programs.
