Job summary

CLA, a top national professional services firm, is seeking an Audit Senior to join our nonprofit practice. This role can be based in St. Louis or Kansas City and offers broad exposure to assurance engagements and client service delivery.

You will plan, lead, and execute audits, assess internal controls, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with managers to deliver high-quality work for a diverse nonprofit client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience is required.
• CPA exam eligibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters.
• Assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our growing Nonprofit practice. This position can be based in St. Louis or Kansas City.

What you’ll do

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters.
• Assessing the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
