Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our nonprofit practice. This role can be based in St. Louis or Kansas City, offering opportunities to lead Assurance engagements and collaborate with clients and decision-makers.

You will plan, execute, and review financial statements, assess controls, and mentor junior staff while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA exam eligibility preferred, and at least 2 years of audit experience.

• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters
• Assessing the design and implementation of internal controls
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
