Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate to join our NY Metro healthcare group on a hybrid basis. You will lead engagement activities, manage budgets and timelines, and coach staff while ensuring client satisfaction as part of our Advisory, Assurance, and Tax services portfolio.

Your 3+ years in public accounting, healthcare/Not-for-Profit experience, and CPA eligibility will support collaboration across teams to strengthen client operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm.
• Healthcare and/or Not-for-Profit experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX.
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership

This position will support our Healthcare Group. Our Healthcare group partners with community health centers and mission-driven healthcare organizations to help them strengthen operations, remain compliant, and advance access to care. The group serves a wide range of federally qualified health centers and community-based providers, delivering specialized support across audit and assurance, tax, and healthcare advisory services. With deep industry knowledge and a collaborative, firmwide approach, the Community Health Group helps organizations navigate complex regulatory requirements, improve financial sustainability, and stay focused on their mission of serving underserved and vulnerable populations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

• 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm

• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX

In New York, the salary range for Assurance Senior Associates is $85,000 - $140,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate's geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
