Corrigan Krause, a growing accounting firm in Ohio, is seeking motivated professionals to join our team. You will assist in financial reporting, audits, and compilations, while building broader expertise in GAAP and related standards.

This role requires strong communication and the ability to manage multiple engagements with confidentiality. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, CPA reimbursement, and opportunities for mentorship and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 2–4 years of public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks, Sage or SAP.
• Strong communication and confidentiality with team and stakeholders.
• Must be able to pass background check and occasionally work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with financial reporting including compilation, review, and audits.
• Provide accounting support and analyze accounting systems.

• Develop understanding of GAAP and related frameworks.
• Supervise audit, review and compilation engagements.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with financial reporting requirements, including compilation, review and audits
• Provide accounting support and analyze accounting systems
• Familiarity with announcements from the FASB and the AICPA
• Develop a full understanding of GAAP; cash, tax or other special purpose frameworks; unique or specialized accounting principles; and financial statement presentations
• Assume responsibility for supervising audit, review and compilation engagements
• Review work of junior staff and provide feedback and guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate
• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting
• Efficiency in Microsoft Suite products and software including QuickBooks, Sage or SAP
• Skilled communicator, both verbally and written, ensuring confidentiality with Corrigan Krause employees and stakeholders
• Ability to take and pass a background check
• Work flexible hours as needed
