Corrigan Krause is seeking motivated accounting professionals in Westlake, OH to support client service across audits, reviews and compilations. The role emphasizes GAAP knowledge, accurate financial reporting and mentorship of junior staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, CPA or candidate status, and 2–4 years public accounting experience. A hybrid work schedule and strong communication skills are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA or CPA candidate status required.
• 2–4 years of public accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software (QB Sage SAP).
• Strong communication, confidentiality with stakeholders.
• Must pass background check and be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with financial reporting including compilation, review and audits.
• Provide accounting support and analyze systems.
• Stay informed on FASB and AICPA announcements.
• Develop understanding of GAAP, cash, tax and other frameworks.
• Supervise audit, review and compilation engagements.
• Review junior staff work and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist clients with financial reporting requirements, including compilation, review and audits
• Provide accounting support and analyze accounting systems
• Familiarity with announcements from the FASB and the AICPA
• Develop a full understanding of GAAP; cash, tax or other special purpose frameworks; unique or specialized accounting principles; and financial statement presentations
• Assume responsibility for supervising audit, review and compilation engagements
• Review work of junior staff and provide feedback and guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate
• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting
• Efficiency in Microsoft Suite products and software including QuickBooks, Sage or SAP
• Skilled communicator, both verbally and written, ensuring confidentiality with Corrigan Krause employees and stakeholders
• Ability to take and pass a background check
• Work flexible hours as needed
