CLA is seeking an Assurance Manager or Director to join our Financial Services Group. The role will lead assurance and audit engagements for financial institutions and deliver high-quality services while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

This position requires CPA, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and at least six years in a large firm; you will manage budgets, mentor staff, and drive business development to ensure profitable engagements and exceptional client service in the Pacific

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Serve as a primary client contact, providing proactive guidance and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Oversee engagement budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Review audit plans, internal control assessments, and engagement deliverables.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members through ongoing feedback and professional development.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
• Contribute to business development efforts by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Deliver operational excellence while ensuring profitable engagement execution and an exceptional client experience.

In this role, you will lead assurance and audit engagements for financial institution clients, delivering high-quality audit, review, and compilation services while serving as a trusted advisor to clients while driving engagement quality, team development, and exceptional client service. This role can be based in one of our strategic growth markets, in our Pacific Northwest offices.

The compensation range for this position in Washington is: $105,000.00 - $181,000.00
