Job summary

LPU Batangas seeks an auditing-focused student to join our team in Dallas, TX. You will understand client needs, GAAP/GAAS issues, assess risks, and perform substantive tests under prescribed formats. You will draft financial statements and support the audit process.

We offer a flexible schedule, competitive benefits, and an hourly compensation of $34-$40. You should be pursuing a BA/BS with accounting major and have a minimum 90 credit hours completed.

• Completion of 90 credit hours.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Understand clients' needs, business, industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues
• Develop an understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools
• Assess risks and evaluate the client's internal control structure
• Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues
• Draft financial statements under prescribed formats

About You

The company is looking for:

• Completion of 90 credit hours
• Working towards a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• Accounting major
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations with reliable transportation
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
