Brief Statement of Duties

Assist the Head Women's LacrosseCoach with all assigned duties associated with the intercollegiatewomen's lacrosse program.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: Course work leading to a degreeCertificate

Discipline/Degree Area:

Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
NCAA learning portal proficiency, or passing within one month ofhire.
Possess a current CPR certification or the ability to obtain uponhire.

Required Minimum Work Experience: Demonstrated successfullacrosse playing experience at the collegiate or comparative levelor coaching experience at the collegiate, comparative or highschool level.
No prior involvement with NCAA major rules violations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:

• Knowledge of NCAA, conference and NMU compliance rules.
• Strong leadership abilities to mentor and develop studentathletes.
• Ability to use various computer software applications includingvideo editing systems.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonalskills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to assess situations, identify problems, and implementsolutions.
• Ability to work effectively under stressful and high-pressuresituations.
• Ability to establish a good rapport and effective workingrelationship with student athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, administrators, college faculty and staff, alumni, professionalcolleagues, and the general public.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

• Collegiate lacrosse playing experience.
