Job summary

Compass Group's Levy segment is seeking a dining room assistant to support servers in busy venues. You will prepare the dining area, set tables, and deliver orders, while bussing and maintaining presentation.

Adherence to HACCP standards, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for long periods are required. Compass Group offers benefits, Instapay, and growth opportunities within the company.

• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including use of gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes.

Summary:Assists servers with various dining room activities.

• Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  • The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
  • The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
  • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
