Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Summary

The Assistant General Restaurant Manager works under the direction of the Restaurant General Manager. The ARGM is responsible for the hands-on day-to-day activities and operations of the restaurant, assisting in implementing Church's initiatives and programs, achieving or exceeding sales and profitability goals, and handling banking and administrative responsibilities.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in training staff.
  2. Maintain appropriate staffing and prepare weekly schedules.
  3. Support staff during high volume periods.
  4. Administer all paperwork promptly.
  5. Analyze profit and loss statements and meet sales targets.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory records.
  7. Enforce all company policies and procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with all operational standards and regulations.
  9. Maintain a clean and safe facility at all times.
  10. Deliver high-quality products consistently.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
  • ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.

Position Qualifications/Skills

  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week, including weekends.
  • Knowledge of restaurant policies, practices, and HR procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Understanding of profit and loss statements.
  • Ability to implement policies and develop employees.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and team development.
  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, supervising, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to create a positive work environment.
