The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure clinician educator track with expertise in Transplant Infectious Diseases.

The role combines teaching fellows/residents/students, inpatient and outpatient clinical duties, and a productive research program focused on infections in transplant patients, with ample collaboration opportunities across the university.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD required, board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Diseases.
• Expertise in Transplant Infectious Diseases.
• Appointee to the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsabilités

• Teaching Infectious Diseases fellows, residents and medical students, and mentoring clinical research trainees.
• Inpatient weeks at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and outpatient sessions at Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
• Designing and implementing observational/interventional studies in transplant infections; scholarship required in clinician-educator track.
• Develop a research focus to expand the division's transplant infectious diseases program with cross-disciplinary collaboration.
