Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston, TX, seeks a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in the Gynecology Division to provide gynecologic care and surgery, while engaging in resident education and faculty practice. The successful candidate will practice primarily on the UTMB Main Campus with potential clinic coverage at other UTMB sites.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an approved residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with emphasis on gynecology and gynecologic surgery.
• Staff resident gynecology services and participate in faculty practice.
• Collaborate with faculty to support clinical, educational, and academic missions.
• Deliver high-quality patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the department.
