What is the role of the Asphalt Plant Division?

The Asphalt Plant Division is part of the Production Group. At each facility, we unload granite stone, crush recycled asphalt, crush concrete, and produce asphalt.

What is an Asphalt Plant Operator (APO)?

This person assists in all ground operations at the plant, crusher, and unloading facility.

What you will get to do:
  1. Monitor material piles and communicate with Plant leadership about material levels.
  2. Grease the entire plant and check oil levels of machines and equipment.
  3. Unload liquid material, lime, and other aggregates as needed.
  4. Operate the water truck as required.
  5. Keep plant areas (yard, tower, etc.) clean and organized.
  6. Assist in maintaining clean and organized aggregate material piles.
  7. Change out bad rollers.
  8. Assist with other plant facility tasks as required.
Who you are:
  • You have 1-2 years of experience as an operator.

  • You possess a valid driver’s license.
  • You are eager to learn and grow in the heavy highway construction industry.
