Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. Fort Myers, FL is seeking a production/sourcing coordinator to support the management of the sourcing and development process, from supplier allocation to product delivery. You will work closely with partners to realize the brand vision and value proposition across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with supplier regarding production status.
• Review delivery and production issues with merchants/designers.
• Enter and update product/sample data in PLM (FLEX).
• Test Fabric/GMT on an exception basis; maintain care/content worklist.
• Track and submit sample requests for milestone meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Objective

This position assists and supports in the management of the sourcing and development process from supplier allocation through to product delivery. This position works closely with key partners to deliver on the brand vision and value proposition throughout the process.

Functional Responsibilities

• Maintains ongoing and regular communication with supplier regarding production status.
• Reviews delivery and production issues/options with the merchants/designers as they arise.
• Enters and updates product and sample information within the PLM (FLEX) system.
• Tests Fabric/GMT on exception basis & maintains care/content worklist.
• Tracks and submits requests for samples for milestone meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position may be found in multiple brands. Some duties may vary from brand to brand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required; Some college preferred
• 1+ years in a production/sourcing environment within the apparel industry
• Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft office suite, emphasis on Excel
• Production tracking software, i.e. PLM experience preferred
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for apparel business and ability to work effectively as a team player
