Job summary

Chico is seeking a production/sourcing professional to manage development and sourcing from supplier allocation to delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to meet target costs and delivery milestones, ensuring quality and timing across multiple brands.

The role emphasizes cost optimization, vendor relationship building, and on-time delivery within a fast-paced apparel environment at our Fort Myers corporate location.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a production/sourcing role within the apparel industry; 3+ years preferred.
• Costing experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates initiative, prioritizes opportunities, and works well in a team.
• Experience in vendor cost negotiation and building vendor relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives product execution ensuring styles are allocated to and received from suppliers with target cost and delivery commitments.
• Assists in resolving cost challenges with suppliers and communicates with key partners.
• Reviews and evaluates supplier time & action calendars.
• Troubleshoots and resolves production or delivery issues.
• Assists in managing development samples and submissions.
• Partners with leaders on onboarding of new suppliers/countries/factories.
• Organizes supplier meetings at NSSC and maintains relationships with internal/external partners.
