Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. in Lake Panasoffkee, FL, is seeking a Jr. Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on machinery. Located off Interstate 75, the facility is near The Villages, Ocala, and Wesley Chapel.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to reduce downtime.
• Analyzing problems and interpreting technical information for repairs.
• Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery to diagnose issues.
• Ensuring safety by following all policies and procedures, including Lock-out / Tag-out.
• Completing work orders and maintaining records using software and logs.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Welding, electrical, PLC experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, climb, and work in damp, loud environments.
