Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, manage shift managers and cleaning staff to ensure a clean, sanitary, and attractive casino environment in the Public Space Department.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Exhibit conduct per Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole policies.
  2. Assign duties and inspect work for cleanliness standards.
  3. Control supply and equipment use.
  4. Investigate complaints and take corrective actions.
  5. Inspect public areas and recommend repairs or replacements.
  6. Conduct orientation and ongoing training for staff.
  7. Attend seminars to improve management, cleaning techniques, and productivity.
  8. Develop staff knowledge and skills through education and coaching.
  9. Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service, reporting concerns appropriately.
  10. Support Tribal Career Development, acting as a mentor for Seminole Tribe members.
  11. Reinforce company values: Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion, Dedication.
  12. Report illegal acts or ethics violations promptly and discreetly.
  13. Stay informed of industry trends and communicate relevant info.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three (3) years managerial experience overseeing large public space/environmental services staff, including casino housekeeping experience.

Work Environment:

  • Frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, and smelling. Must lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Casino environment is busy, noisy, and crowded, with potential exposure to secondhand smoke and other environmental factors.
  • Effective communication in English required.

Closing:

Preference given to Native Americans, especially Seminole Tribe members. Final candidates must undergo background checks and obtain gaming licensure, including credit, criminal, and drug screenings.
