Loyola University Chicago invites applications for the Asst. Director of Athletic Marketing & Ticket Operations. This role plans and executes marketing programs to boost fan attendance and ticket revenue for Loyola’s varsity teams.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, college athletics experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with ticketing software. It is a fully in-person role based on the Rogers Park campus.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Experience in collegiate athletics, preferably Division I Marketing/Promotions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with ticketing software preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage marketing, and promotional activities for and in conjunction with Loyola University Chicago’s varsity athletic teams.
• Responsible for writing marketing plans for designated sports designed to generate interest and awareness, promote fan attendance, and generate ticket revenue.
• Work with external groups and community organizations to increase group attendance and revenue.
• Develop game day scripts for video board, music, and public address announcements for designated sports. Implement scripts at home sporting events, coordinating with campus and internal groups, video coordinator, sponsorship sales staff, technical services, band, cheerleaders, The Pack, and outside groups.
• Assist with managing the Loyola Spirit groups, including Cheer, Dance, Mascots, and the Band of Wolves.
• Coordinate on-field and on-court presentations with University and external groups and individuals at various sporting and special events.
• Actively develop and use social media to further marketing and branding efforts of individual sports and Loyola Athletics.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a College or University accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
• Previous work experience in collegiate athletics, preferably with Division I Marketing and/or Promotions.

Qualifications

• Effective oral, written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Computer Skills

• Microsoft Office or equivalent.
• Preferred to have experience in Ticketing software.
