Job summary

California State University, Fresno is seeking an Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment, Olympic Sports to manage the operation of the athletic equipment room(s) for assigned sports. This full-time, exempt role may require evenings, weekends and travel with teams.

Under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director for Equipment Operations, you will oversee procurement, inventory, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with NCAA and Pac-12 rules, as well as equity and diversity

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience as an Athletic Equipment Manager or Attendant at a collegiate institution.
• Experience with inventory control and maintenance.
• Experience with computerized inventory programs, email, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation of the athletic equipment room(s) for assigned sports.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; possible travel with teams.
• Procure, inventory and maintain equipment; ensure compliance with NCAA and Pac-12 rules.
• Collaborate with staff to support equity and diversity commitments.

Hiring Salary: $5,858.67/month

This is a full-time, exempt position.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director for Equipment Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the operation of the athletic equipment room(s) for the assigned sports. Sport assignment will be assigned at a later date. This position works a flexible work schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, and possible travel with teams to away events.
