Branford Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a fifth veterinarian to our amazing team. Our facility opened just 7 years ago and our employees and clients absolutely love it! Our support staff is handpicked to be gentle, supportive, and caring. The result is a fun, engaging workday full of upbeat positive attitudes.
Our veterinarians range from eight to twenty years of experience and bring collaboration, support, and mentoring to the table. We are very open to mentoring a new grad or welcoming an experienced colleague. We have three CVT’s on staff and utilize Fear Free techniques and training. Our in-house lab includes two blood chemistry machines, two AI microscopes, digital radiology unit, high speed dental drill, and Claruis handheld ultrasound unit. In addition there are 3 anesthesia machines in use, 2 digital monitors, central oxygen, Avimark software, glass door runs, and much more.
Branford Veterinary Hospital is a full service practice offering preventive care, hospital care, surgery, and dentistry. The option to see basic exotic animal cases is available. We serve our community by working with a local feline rescue group, municipal animal control, and police dogs. We utilize traveling specialists in surgery and radiology when appropriate and refer to four local specialty hospitals when needed.
We offer a base salary plus production. Benefits include paid vacation time, health insurance, dental plan, license and membership dues, employee pet discount, and professional liability insurance. Our vendor reps provide occasional lunch & learn opportunities, product samples, and other various gifts. After 1 year we further offer continuing education stipend and retirement plan with 3% salary matching.
Branford Veterinary Hospital is a female co-owned locally rooted 85 year old practice. We are NOT corporate owned or managed. Our greatest strength is truly our work culture.
