Job description

Maximus is currently hiring an Assessment Team Lead to support the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

Maximus conducts conflict-free assessments for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities on behalf of the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Maximus Assessors use the Coordinated Assessment System (CAS), a comprehensive assessment tool to identify the strengths, interests, and needs of children and youth. This information assists Care Coordination Organizations (CCO) in their person-centered care planning.

As an Assessment Management Team Lead, you will lead and support technical operations, assist in training initiatives, and monitor calls to ensure staff consistently deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has experience with CANS/CAS projects, including expertise in assessment tools, data analysis, and implementation within behavioral health or social services settings.

This is a Hybrid role requiring travel within The Bronx, Westchester, and Rockland counties.
