Base pay range

Join our dynamic team as an Associate Wealth Advisor (AWA) in Deer Park, IL, where you will play a vital role in fostering and managing client relationships under the guidance of the Managing Director (MD) and Senior Wealth Advisor (SWA). In this position, you will be instrumental in understanding clients’ unique financial goals and executing tailored financial plans. The AWA will effectively integrate various financial services, including financial planning, risk management, investment management, tax planning, and estate planning, ensuring our clients receive comprehensive support for their financial journeys. Core Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to SageView’s core processes and service model for delivering wealth management.
  2. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding service expectations and deliverables.
  3. Support the management of client relationships in partnership with a Senior Wealth Advisor(s) or Managing Director(s), ensuring a consistent and positive experience.
  4. Lead collaboration with internal support resources, including Operations, Investment Management, and other internal teams to deliver a positive client experience.
  5. Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans customized to meet clients' needs and goals, covering financial, risk, tax, investment, and estate planning.
  6. Understand clients’ financial objectives and craft portfolio strategies to help meet their goals in collaboration with SageView’s investment management strategists.
  7. Analyze clients' risk profiles and design risk management strategies to protect and preserve their wealth.
  8. Act as a liaison with clients' accountants, attorneys, and other advisors to create a cohesive team for comprehensive wealth management, where appropriate.

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent experience; MBA strongly desired.
  2. Series 65 and Series 7 required; Certified Financial Planner highly desirable, or a willingness to complete upon onboarding in a timely manner.

Experience:

  1. Experience in client service, relationship management, and wealth management.
  2. In-depth knowledge of financial planning, risk management, investment management, tax planning, and estate planning.
  3. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of tasks and responsibilities related to client service.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Computer Skills:

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel).
  2. Proficient in Zoom.
  3. Experience with Practifi (Salesforce) or similar CRM preferred.
  4. Familiarity with Custodian Platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Schwab) preferred.
  5. Experience with eMoney preferred.

Other Requirements:

  1. Providing professional and courteous service to clients, prospective clients, and colleagues.
  2. Effectively handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
  3. Effectively prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
  4. Maintaining attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.
  5. Effectively communicating and accurately relaying information to others, including senior management.
  6. Writing concise, logical, grammatically correct reports.
  7. Maintaining well organized and efficient processes.

This is a full-time position primarily working in person out of the Deer Park, IL office, with some workdays in Oakbrook Terrace. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and may fluctuate with business needs in the direction of or with management approval.
