Job summary

Houlihan Lokey, Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President in the Data Strategy Group in New York to drive operations analytics, budgeting alignment, and data-driven decision support for product marketing and corporate teams.

You will translate complex data into executive narratives, build ROI models for major tech transitions, and partner with Product Marketing and Finance to maximize DSG value and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proven BizOps, analytics experience with data-driven decision making.
• Advanced Excel (including VBA), SQL, Python, and BI tools (Tableau, Sigma, Power BI).
• Ability to synthesize complex data into executive narratives.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to work in ambiguity.
• Excellent stakeholder management across functions.

Responsibilities

• COO Partnership: establish data-driven processes for budgeting and operations within DSG.
• Develop cost-benefit models and ROI frameworks for vendor transitions and new tech investments.
• Analyze resource allocation, vendor spend, and budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.
