Job summary

MBA is seeking a seasoned research professional to lead and support its Commercial Real Estate and CREF market analyses. You will develop benchmarks, publish industry insights, and represent MBA with policymakers, media, and members.

The role involves managing peer roundtables, forecasting models, and coordinating with policy, meetings, and education teams to advance MBA's research agenda.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Doctorate preferred.
• Ten+ years of experience in real estate finance or related field.
• Subject-matter expert on CREF market trends and data sources.
• Extensive research experience with data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise research on multifamily and commercial real estate markets and finance.
• Manage CREF Peer Business Roundtable programs and meetings.
• Develop relationships with members and policymakers to shape research agenda.
• Forecast models for the CREF markets.
• Represent MBA to media, policymakers, and the public.
