Cielo Grande Veterinary Center in Roswell, NM is seeking an Associate Veterinarian of any experience level to join our busy, two-doctor practice. We’re fast-paced, collaborative, and dedicated to high-quality medicine in a supportive environment where you can grow quickly and stay challenged.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited institution.
• Active state licensure in good standing.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility to prescribe controlled substances.
• Strong communication and client education skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counsel on pet end-of-life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
