Cielo Grande Veterinary Center in Roswell, NM is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a two-doctor practice with mentoring and hands-on case exposure.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Appropriate state licensure to practice.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD registration.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose diseases or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgeries and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counsel on end-of-life care for pets.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and policies.
