Job summary

The Gentle Doctor Veterinary Clinic in Savage, MN is seeking an Associate Doctor (DVM) to join our team. This onsite role focuses on high-quality veterinary care, client service, and collaborative practice.

As part of WellHaven, you will work with a supportive team, adhere to veterinary standards, and mentor staff. Flexible schedule includes longer shifts and weekend coverage with opportunities for leadership and growth.

Qualifications

DVM or equivalent degree required.
State Veterinary Board License required.
On the first day of employment, must be in good standing with the state(s) employed to work for WellHaven.
Current USDA Accreditation is a plus!

Responsibilities

Ensure high-quality care and safe, exceptional service to maintain a positive hospital environment.
Adhere to WellHaven protocols and oversee employees to achieve hospital goals.
Collaborate with the Principal Doctor to establish development plans.
Practice veterinary medicine in compliance with laws, ethics, and proper documentation.
Maintain thorough medical records and clear client communication.
Participate in community events and hospital projects.
Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and current practices.
Lead/train support staff as required.
