Job description

Job Opportunity: Equine Veterinarian

We are seeking a dedicated veterinarian to provide excellent medical care to our resident population of broodmares, foals, yearlings, and stallions. The role includes assisting with advanced reproductive management of mares, such as embryo transfer, recipient herd management, and the international and national distribution of semen.

While experience in theriogenology is appreciated, this position offers an exciting opportunity for a new graduate to develop reproductive skills under the mentorship of an experienced veterinarian, while attending to the daily needs of the horses on site.

The successful candidate will oversee neonatal and mare preventative and medical care, ensuring the health of an elite herd of broodmares, foals, and stallions. The position is full-time, but we strive to promote a healthy work/life balance and will accommodate special schedules or hours as needed.

Availability for emergencies is necessary, but after-hours requirements are minimal and shared with other veterinarians. Our proximity to excellent referral clinics allows us to refer critical cases efficiently.

We offer a fun, supportive work environment with a highly competent and welcoming team that quickly becomes like family. On-site housing may be provided for the right candidate. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and health insurance. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
