Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• Current DEA License or to be obtained upon hire
• Active Veterinary State License; USDA Accreditation or to be obtained upon hire

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods
• Confidence around animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.); species treated confirmed with practice leadership
• Occasional requirement to work more than 40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings, or holidays
• Must have reasoning, memory, math, and language skills in English
• Moderately high noise level; ear protection available
• Sufficient ambulatory skills; ability to lift/carry/move up to 50 pounds
• Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity
• Ability to perform duties in a dynamic environment with exposure to animals that may bite, kick, scratch, or be exposed to hazards
