Deer Creek Animal Hospitalis a 3 doctor practice that’s been treating small animals (dogs, cats, pocket pets/exotics) in the Overland Park area for years! We are a surgery heavy hospital that would be such a great place to learn pretty much any sort of surgery (soft tissue or advanced)!

Deer Creek Animal Hospitalis a family run, full service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. Russell Cain has years of experience treating serious conditions, offering regular pet wellness care, and advanced surgeries such as TPLOs & orthopedic surgeries. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our Overland Park veterinarian.

We invite doctors to pursue their own interests in medicine and provide support and encouragement to bring new skills to our patients and clients. We have 4 exam rooms in a beautifully modern facility with other services such as pet boarding, grooming and day care!

We provide a multitude of services, routine and advanced such as spay & neuter, orthopedic surgeries, advanced soft tissue, TPLO, dentistry services, ultrasound, keep internal medicine in house as much as possible, radiology, pocket pets/exotics, nutrition, and see emergency treatment cases as well!
