Responsibilities of the Associate Veterinarian:

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals to assess health.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of animals.
  • Administer medications and treatments as needed for various conditions.
  • Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia during procedures.
  • Educate and communicate with clients about their pets’ health and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure the highest standard of care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian (new graduates will be considered).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members.
