A thriving, multi-doctor small animal practice located in Foley, Alabama is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice offers a unique opportunity for veterinarians of all experience levels to engage in a variety of medical and surgical cases, including the opportunity to work with exotics. About the Practice:

This established veterinary clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including cold/therapy lasers and surgical lasers, enabling the team to deliver exceptional care. The clinic’s flexible scheduling allows doctors to choose between 2 to 4.5 days per week, providing work-life balance while maintaining a high standard of patient care. The team is closed on weekends, giving veterinarians ample time to recharge and enjoy personal pursuits. The practice also prioritizes staff development through its internal LevelUp training program, which supports the growth of all team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide relationship-based care to patients and clients, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to deliver high-quality veterinary services.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and actively engage with the local Foley community.
  • Contribute to the mentorship and development of veterinary support staff through the practice's internal training program.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including performing surgeries and providing care during regular business hours.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program.
  • Active veterinary license in good standing or the ability to obtain one in Alabama.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for providing excellent animal care.
