A partner hospital in Lenoir, NC is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative clinical environment, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Perform physical exams, diagnostic tests, surgeries, and provide treatment for animals with a variety of medical conditions.
  • Client Education: Educate pet owners on preventive care, treatment options, and general pet wellness.
  • Surgical & Medical Procedures: Perform surgeries and administer medications as needed.
  • Diagnostic & Preventive Care: Utilize state-of-the-art technology such as cold/therapy laser and acupuncture to enhance patient care.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage with a multi-doctor team to provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Education: DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Licensing: Active license in good standing to practice in North Carolina (or the ability to obtain a license in the state).
  • Experience: This role is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, from new graduates to seasoned professionals.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for continuing education.
