A well-established partner veterinary hospital in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Role Overview: The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to companion animals, working alongside a talented team of veterinary professionals. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including diagnostics, surgeries, preventative care, and client education. The clinic is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a modern, well-equipped facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, including preventative care and wellness exams.
  • Perform surgeries, including routine and emergency procedures, with a focus on patient safety.
  • Educate clients on animal health, treatment options, and preventative care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and provide follow-up care as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high standards of care and clinic goals are met.

Qualifications:

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active veterinary license to practice in the state of Massachusetts (or ability to obtain licensure).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in general practice; however, new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care and client education.
