We are a veterinary group that services Providence, RI and surrounding areas. Our facilities are newer, bright, and fully equipped with all the latest in-house diagnostics. We benefit from weekly in house ACVIM and ACVS consults. Referral specialists and emergency clinics are nearby to ensure professional growth with an unsurpassed work/life balance Work/life balance is important to us, and we traditionally offer a 3 ½ day work week with no after hour duties! Furthermore, we benefit from a trained, loyal support staff and an educated, informed clientele able to provide for high quality care. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Licensing Examination: Pass the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) to demonstrate your competency in veterinary medicine.
State Licensure: Apply for licensure through the Rhode Island Board of Examiners in Veterinary Medicine. This process includes submitting proof of your educational credentials, passing examination scores, and any necessary application forms.
Controlled Substance Registration: If you intend to dispense, prescribe, store, or order controlled substances, you must obtain a Rhode Island Controlled Substance Registration (CSR). This involves completing the Rhode Island Uniform Controlled Substances Act Registration Form and submitting it with the appropriate fee.
