Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college.
• Current Washington license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• DEA license (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Strong clinical skills in small animal medicine and surgery.
• Excellent communication and client education skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary care.
• New graduates encouraged; comprehensive mentorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness, preventive, medical, and surgical care for companion animals.
• Perform exams, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe therapies.
• Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
• Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and other tests.
• Educate clients on preventive care, nutrition, and long-term health.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with staff.
• Participate in continuing education and uphold high standards.
