Lefferts Animal Hospital is a well-established, progressive, 8-doctor general practice seeing companion animal, exotics, reptiles and avian patients located in Richmond Hill, NY. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Emergency & Urgent Care, High Speed Dentistry, Surgical CO2 Laser, Cold Laser Therapy, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, Acupuncture, House Calls & More. Mentoring available for new graduates and no emergency hours.

Our Veterinarians:

Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible.
Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort.
Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment.
Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.
Help to continue developing the support team.
Treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.

We’re looking for:

Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
New graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply
Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
Proficient in general medicine and surgery
Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
Active Veterinary State License
Salary range is dependent on experience / combination of bonus structure, but base salary starting pay is $120,000 and is fully customizable.
