Lakeside Veterinary Hospital is a well-established General Practice in Carbondale, Illinois. We offer many services to supply the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative, Surgery, High Speed Dentistry, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, CT and more.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a DVM looking to live in a tight-knit community while enjoying easy access to nearby city amenities and wide-open spaces. You'll love the unique charm of southern Illinois, just outside St. Louis. Carbondale, IL is a thriving tree-filled, bicycle-friendly community, packed with culture, recreation, and beautiful scenic landscapes. As a local hub, it’s just a short train ride away from several destination cities here in the Midwest.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with limited walk-in hours on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
• Active veterinary state license
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
