Our unique business model partners with lead veterinarians who have ownership in their clinics, ensuring a vested interest in success and mentorship. Our clinics foster a positive work culture, resulting in high DVM retention.

Why work at CityVet?

Three reasons make CityVet a unique place to work:

  1. Autonomy: Dr. Chip Cannon founded CityVet to give veterinarians the freedom to practice medicine their way, with control over their business, schedule, and staff. No quotas or manuals—just hands-on experience and mentorship in various practice areas.
  1. Support: As a DVM-led and owned company, we understand your needs and support your clinical work and well-being. Our support includes:
  • Unlimited earning potential with a base salary and no cap on production bonuses
  • Additional income options like stipends, commissions, and signing bonuses
  • Ongoing mentorship and professional development through CityVet Academy

  • Flexible scheduling
  1. Kindness: Our core values foster a positive, family-like culture where teamwork and respect thrive. We believe life is too short to work where you're not valued and respected as a professional and person.
