Job summary

Atlas Consultancy Group Ltd in the Bellaire area of Houston, TX, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for a privately owned AAHA-accredited small animal hospital. You will join a collaborative team, provide wellness care, sick visits, dentistry and routine soft tissue surgery to dogs and cats, with interest in exotics welcome.

The hospital uses modern in‑house diagnostic tools and offers a four‑day work week with one half‑day Saturday every other week, no on‑call or overnight emergencies.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required
• Texas license eligibility to practice in Texas or eligibility to obtain
• 2–5 years clinical experience preferred
• Comfort with routine surgery and dentistry (spays, neuters, extractions)
• Interest in ultrasound or advanced surgery is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide routine veterinary care and dentistry (spays, neuters, extractions)
• Perform soft tissue surgeries as needed
• Utilize ultrasound and in-house diagnostics where trained
• Collaborate with practice manager and medical director
• Maintain fear-free approach and work within a team
• Mentor and support junior staff as appropriate
