Qualifications

• Veterinary degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current state veterinary license and DEA registration.
• 1+ year experience in a veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow protocols.
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance procedures.
• Promote teamwork and professional staff collaboration.
• Support hospital manager with weekly priorities and outcomes.
• Monitor hospital operations from intake to discharge.
