Job summary

Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic in Honor, MI is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a tight-knit, collaborative team focused on high-quality care for dogs and cats. You’ll have a voice in the practice and leadership opportunities as you grow.

Schedule features 20–30 minute wellness visits, 20–40 minute sick visits, ~14 patients per day, with no weekends and no on-call. Competitive pay ($115k–$130k) plus production and a sign-on bonus up to $50k.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program and Michigan licensure.
• Active or eligibility for Michigan veterinary license and DEA/BNDD eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative team player.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and manage routine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals (dogs and cats).
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples; interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Maintain medical records and ensure ethical compliance.
