University Veterinary Hospital in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian. Our practice offers general medicine with a surgical toolkit rarely available in general practice, including laparoscopic procedures, advanced dentistry, and on-site orthopedics.

We provide mentorship and support as you grow. We collaborate with board-certified dermatology and oncology teams, offer integrative options like stem cell therapy and acupuncture, with hours 7am–6pm, and a compensation package

Qualifications

• Open to any experience level; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide general veterinary care with access to advanced surgeries.
• Perform laparoscopic spay/neuter, gastropexy, and endoscopy.
• Collaborate with dermatology, oncology, orthopedics for referrals.
• Utilize integrative therapies like stem cell, acupuncture, cold laser.
• Work with a Fear Free, Cat Friendly team; M-F hours 7am-6pm.
