Job summary

University Veterinary Hospital in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a team that offers general practice with advanced surgical and dental capabilities.

You will work alongside our board-certified dermatologist with in-house oncology, orthopedics, and rehab referral access, plus integrative therapies and Fear Free/Cat Friendly certification.

New grads welcome; full-time, M-F 7am–6pm, with mentorship and a company equity option via VSOP.

Qualifications

• Open to any experience level; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• General practice with advanced surgical and dental procedures.
• Provide on-site orthopedics including advanced techniques.
• Perform comprehensive dentistry with full-mouth radiographs.
• Collaborate with dermatologist; access in-house oncology/orthopedics/rehab.
• Utilize integrative therapies such as stem cell therapy and acupuncture.
• Maintain Fear Free and Cat Friendly standards; schedule M–F 7am–6pm.
