Willamette Veterinary Hospital (WVH) is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to add to their General Practice team!

Willamette Veterinary Hospital (WVH) is a full-service, AAHA accredited, small animal general practice and 24/7 emergency hospital. Our state-of-the-art hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, Snyder oxygen cage, blood products, therapy laser, and CO2 laser. We use Cornerstone for our electronic medical records. You can take a tour of our hospital at www.wilvet.com. Our goal is to steadily build confidence and skills in surgery, medicine, ICU management, and emergency care, as well as additional interests that you may have. We have worked hard to build an experienced team that supports collaboration and a healthy work-life balance. Our doctors are well supported with a minimum of 3:1 support staff to doctor ratio! We have dedicated ER technicians and ICU technicians, to provide the best patient care and continuity of care. We are a referral center for the community offering a very high standard of medical & surgical care, intentionally paired with strong emphasis on exceptional client and patient service. We offer advanced services in ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy, point of care diagnosis, & surgery. We maintain a blood bank. We value engagement with the community. We offer the opportunity for incoming interns to pursue advanced US skills during their intern year.

Our goal is to work in a team-based environment that fosters respect, collaboration, and compassion in order to provide the best care possible to each and every patient, every day, every night, every time. We meet as a doctor team monthly to discuss cases and our goals for our hospital, and we further enhance our interns' first-year learning with weekly teaching rounds. We value a work-life balance and believe in fostering an environment where you can practice top-tier medicine and have the energy to enjoy life outside of work.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented mentality that supports our close-knit family culture
  • Willing to learn and grow using the many resources available
