Fairgrounds Animal Hospital in Reno, Nevada, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) to join a progressive small animal general practice with a skilled support team. The position offers full-time or part-time opportunities, flexible scheduling, and a collaborative environment to practice high-quality medicine across wellness, dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine with modern diagnostics.

Candidates must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in Nevada and be available to work

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college or international equivalent
• NAVLE completed or eligible for licensure in Nevada
• Active Nevada veterinary license in good standing or ability to obtain before start date
• Experience in small animal general practice or urgent care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care for small animals across wellness, dentistry, surgery and internal medicine.
• Collaborate with a skilled support team to deliver compassionate patient care.
• Maintain strong client relationships and practice evidence-based medicine using modern diagnostics
