West Side Animal Clinic in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a DVM to join our compassionate, community-focused team. We offer flexible full-time or part-time scheduling and mentorship for new graduates while supporting experienced veterinarians with collaboration and growth opportunities.

We provide comprehensive small animal care—wellness, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and boarding—plus a strong client‑education emphasis.

Qualifications

DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school
Eligible for or currently licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio
Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery
Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

Perform wellness exams and preventive care services
Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in small animals
Develop and communicate treatment plans to clients
Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
Interpret diagnostic testing including lab work and imaging
Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Build long-term relationships with clients through education and communication
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
